Anti Spam Policy

1. Background 

 

The Australian Parliament introduced the Spam Act 2003 in 2003 to control commercial e-mail and other commercial electronic messaging. The Act prohibits spam, including email spam, some varieties of phone spam, email address harvesting, and other practises. 

 

2. Purpose 

 

RobobAI is committed to providing the highest standard of communication to all our customers and prospective customers. As an Australian-based business, our communication policies are guided by applicable Australian laws, namely, Spam Act 2003 in 2003.

 

3. Scope 

 

Outlined below are the measures RobobAI have taken to align our process with the Spam Act 2003.

3.1 Prior to sending communication, RobobAI gain
    a)    Express Permission
    b)    Inferred Permission

3.2 When sending communications, RobobAI aim to be open and transparent by clearly
    a)    identifying the name of the individual or our company, as the email sender
    b)    providing a business address
    c)    providing our business ABN
    d)    providing contact details

3.3 We make it easy for recipients to unsubscribe. We do this by providing
   a)    an active ‘unsubscribe’ link on all batch emails
  b)    clear instructions as to how to unsubscribe

3.4 Under no circumstances do we use or supply email lists that has been created with address-harvesting software.

 

4. Definitions

 

Express permission   A person who gives express permission knows and accepts that they will receive marketing emails or messages from you. Express permission is given when a person undertakes the following; completing a website form, ticking a permission box on a website, requesting more information either over the phone or in person

Harvested‑address list   Where the production of a list of electronic addresses, collection or compilation is, to any extent, directly or indirectly attributable to the use of address‑harvesting software.

Inferred Permission   A person who, through their relationship with your business, can reasonably expect to receive additional information relating to your business and services. Examples of this include, website registration, follow-up after purchase of product or service, reasons of warranty or support,
